Liloo — Terms of Use

By creating an account or using Liloo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What Liloo is

Liloo is an AI-powered training simulator for difficult conversations. You interact with AI-generated characters in predefined conflict scenarios (e.g. toxic relatives, aggressive colleagues) to practise your communication skills.

2. Age rating — 17+

Liloo is rated 17+ (Apple) / Mature 17+ (Google Play). The minimum age of use is 13 years. Users aged 13-17 receive age-calibrated responses with softened mature content. We enforce this via a date-of-birth check at registration.

3. AI disclaimer — this is NOT therapy

Liloo uses large language models (OpenAI). The AI can produce:

  • inaccurate statements,
  • contradictory advice,
  • unexpected tone or content,
  • hallucinated facts.

Liloo is not a substitute for:

  • medical, psychological, or psychiatric care,
  • legal advice,
  • financial advice,
  • crisis intervention.

If you are in distress or experiencing self-harm thoughts, please use the crisis hotlines available in Profile → Hotline 24/7, or contact emergency services in your region.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use Liloo to:

  • generate content depicting child sexual abuse material (CSAM),
  • generate content promoting violence against real individuals or groups,
  • generate instructions for building weapons, synthesising drugs, or other illegal activity,
  • impersonate, harass or defame real people,
  • circumvent safety filters via prompt-injection or jailbreak techniques,
  • reverse-engineer, decompile or scrape the service.

Violation may result in: content removal, warning, temporary block, permanent block, and legal reporting in the case of CSAM.

5. Report abuse

Every AI-generated message can be reported by long-pressing it and tapping Report. Our moderation team reviews every report within 24 hours. Reach us at moderation@liloosafespace.com for urgent cases.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the text you write. You grant Liloo a worldwide, royalty-free licence to process your content only for the purposes of: (a) generating AI responses, (b) training you via the service, (c) safety moderation, (d) aggregated anonymous analytics.

Your content is not used to train OpenAI or any third-party ML model.

7. Our content (AI output)

AI output is generated in response to your input. It is provided "as is" and may be inaccurate. You may use AI output for personal practice; you should not rely on it for any decision with material consequences.

8. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. You may delete your account at any time from Profile.

9. Subscriptions

Liloo currently has no paid subscriptions. Should they be introduced, purchases will run through the App Store / Google Play subscription flow and will be governed by the respective platform's subscription terms in addition to these Terms. We will notify users in-app and on this site at least 30 days before any paid plan launches.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liloo, its team, and its sub-processors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) during that period.

12. Changes

We may change these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app and by email at least 30 days before effect.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ukraine. Any dispute shall be resolved in the competent courts of Ukraine.
