Liloo — Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-06 Contact: privacy@liloosafespace.com
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the website at liloosafespace.com uses, why, and how you can control them. It supplements the Privacy Policy, which describes the Liloo app and how we process personal data in general.
The website is operated by FOP Rudenko Yevheniia Yevhenivna (an individual entrepreneur registered in Ukraine), the data controller.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies work the same way for this purpose: your browser's local storage, and scripts or small requests ("pixels") loaded from another company's server, which let that company receive your IP address and browser details. In this policy "cookies" covers all of them.
First-party items are set by liloosafespace.com. Third-party items are set or read by another company — here, Google.
2. Our approach
- Nothing optional runs before you choose. Until you accept analytics or advertising in the cookie banner, the website does not load any Google script and sends no request to Google. Google's Consent Mode starts with every analytics and advertising signal denied.
- You choose separately. The banner has Accept all and Reject all, and under Customize you can accept Analytics and Advertising independently.
- Your choice lasts 12 months. After that the banner asks again.
- You can change your mind at any time through Cookie settings in the website footer. When you withdraw consent, the website deletes the Google cookies it had set on liloosafespace.com and stops loading Google scripts.
The fonts and images on the website are served from our own server; they do not contact third parties.
3. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are needed to remember your choice and cannot be switched off. They do not require consent.
| Name | Provider | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
liloo_consent_v1 | Liloo (first-party) | Local storage | Remembers your cookie choice (analytics yes/no, advertising yes/no) and when you made it. | 12 months, then the banner asks again |
Analytics — only with your consent
| Name | Provider | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) | Cookie (first-party, set by Google's script) | Distinguishes visitors so we can count visits and see which pages are used. | 2 years |
_ga_QXRV785DRH | Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) | Cookie (first-party, set by Google's script) | Keeps the state of a visit (session). | 2 years |
liloo_first_touch_v1 (campaign part) | Liloo (first-party) | Local storage | Remembers the campaign parameters (utm_*) of the link that brought you to the site, so that a later app download can be attributed to the campaign. | 30 days |
With analytics consent the website also records a few events without personal content — for example, a click on an app-store button, a demo scenario chosen, or video playback.
Advertising — only with your consent
| Name | Provider | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au | Google Ads (Google LLC) | Cookie (first-party, set by Google's script) | Measures whether a visit that came from our ads leads to an app download or registration (conversion measurement). | 90 days |
_gcl_aw, _gcl_gb | Google Ads (Google LLC) | Cookie (first-party, set by Google's script) | Stores the ad-click identifier when you arrive from a Google ad. | 90 days |
IDE, test_cookie and similar | Google (doubleclick.net) | Cookie (third-party) | Ad measurement and, where Google Ads remarketing is used, showing Liloo ads to people who visited the site. | Up to 13 months |
liloo_first_touch_v1 (click-ID part) | Liloo (first-party) | Local storage | Remembers a Google ad-click identifier (gclid, gbraid, wbraid) for 30 days so a later app download can be attributed to the ad. | 30 days |
Lifetimes of Google cookies are Google's defaults and may change; see Google's cookie list.
Embedded video — only when you press play
The overview video is embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode
(youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play.
When you do, YouTube (Google) may store items in your browser and receive
your IP address under
Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Links to the app stores
The Google Play buttons on the website add to the link that the visit came from our website, the page language and the button's position, so that we can see which part of the site led to a download. If you accepted analytics, the campaign parameters of the link that brought you to the site are added too; if you accepted advertising, so is the Google ad-click identifier. Google Play passes these to the Liloo app once it is installed. The App Store button opens Apple's page without any parameters.
5. Server logs
Like any website, our server records each request — IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested (including any campaign parameters in the address) and the time. These logs are used to operate and secure the site, are kept for up to 14 days and are not used for analytics or advertising. They do not need consent. The website is hosted by DigitalOcean in London, United Kingdom.
6. Legal basis and Google's role
We use analytics and advertising cookies only with your consent (EU/UK ePrivacy rules and GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection"). The strictly necessary item and server logs are based on our legitimate interest in running a secure website that remembers your choice.
Google processes Google Analytics data on our behalf. For advertising measurement and remarketing, Google also acts as an independent controller under its own terms. Google may process data in the United States; such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Google's standard contractual clauses. You can learn more and use Google's own controls at How Google uses information from sites that use its services and install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
7. How to control cookies
- On the website: open Cookie settings in the footer to accept, reject or change each category.
- In your browser: you can delete stored cookies and site data and block cookies for all or specific websites. Blocking strictly necessary storage means the banner will be shown on every visit.
- Test-drive: the web test-drive of the app at
/testdrive/is a closed preview available only with a password; it is not covered by this policy.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when the website starts or stops using a cookie, and change the date at the top. Questions: privacy@liloosafespace.com.
